So many people wished me Happy Birthday! I'm so happy

Have I ever told you that this account is secret in real life? Well, it is. And I almost got caught last night. I came this close *holds fingers a fourth of an inch apart* to being caught.

And it made me realize something. I've actually realized it before, but I've always discarded it because of my strong desire to return to deviantART every time I can. But it's always been at a risk.

And now I think it just needs to stop.

I don't believe that deviantART is a bad environment - no, to the contrary! There are bad things here, but if you ignore them, avoid them, look past them - you'll see the true heart of deviantART. That's what I've loved for this almost-year that I've been with you guys. And that's what I'll miss the most.

So, last time when I said I was leaving for a while, I meant for a few months. But I knew I would be back, very soon, in time for the return of yayayayayala. And I did...almost. Now, I'm leaving seventeen days before her birthday. I won't be back for a while. And this time, it won't be just a few weeks, or a few months. It's gonna be a really long time. But I know it's the right thing to do. The secrecy, that's what wrong about this. Not the being on dA itself, but the secrecy. That's what has to stop.

I love you guys. I love you all! I know I'm going to miss you and this wonderful community very much while I'm away. But - and I'll say it again - it's the right thing to do. I know it is, because of the way I feel about it.

But I don't regret clicking that join button last October. If I hadn't been on dA, I would never have started drawing ponies like I did. If I hadn't seen joelashimself's amazing comic, I wouldn't have been inspired to push my pencil-drawing limits, and I might not know how to effectively shade without smearing. (Don't worry, you'll see an example of that...someday.) If it weren't for me posting the second chapter of my Door Within fanfic on here and showing it to bloodyjackfaber, I wouldn't have been advised about showing rather than telling, not for a long time! If I hadn't posted a story on FIMFiction, I would probably still not be starting a new paragraph whenever someone else started speaking. If it weren't for you guys...I may never have found the true magic of brony friendship! Or the brohoof! /)(\

Thank you. Thank you all, for the hospitality, the love, the camraderie, and the companionship you guys have shown me over this almost-year. Thanks for an amazing ride, and thanks in advance for the next one, the one that is to come. The one that will be even more crazily awesome than the first!
